About

Graduating from SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) with a B.F.A. in fibers gave me the skills to work in many different mediums including weaving, digital surface design, embroidery, quilting, felting, dyeing, and more. I am currently a full time designer for Culp Upholstery with a focus on textures. Previously I worked with Valdese Weavers primarily under their performance brands Sustain and Inside Out. I enjoy the challenge of designing luxurious fabrics at an accessible price point.

Although I have spent most of my time recently on jacquard design, my personal work is focused on stitching, sewing, and quilting with both hand and machine. The slow process of drawing with stitches allows for both the reflection and capturing of fleeting moments and memories. I find peace in the process of taking an experience and filtering it through the contemplative medium of fiber art. I also have a strong interest in the fashion industry and garment construction.

In my free time you can find me playing my guitar, hanging out with my cats, spending time outdoors, or playing a new game!
